A research project exploring the potential of fiber hemp. The material experiments that I undertook were aimed not only at showing the diversity of raw materials obtained from hemp, but also about the possibilities offered by this plant in the subject of design. The main assumption was to obtain a fully biodegradable hemp-based material. Samples of plant raw materials were combined with marine algae, starch, bone glue, natural latex, gelatin, and water vapor formation tests were also carried out. During the work, samples of hemp concrete - hempcrete were also created in order to find a new application for it. Finally, the decision was made on potato starch bioplastics, which in combination with hemp fibers, fabric, nonwoven or rope gives interesting application possibilities.
